Over 50s club
The sessions are very inclusive and new players are always welcome.
Whether you consider yourself an experienced player, or have never picked up a table tennis bat before, there is a session for you. Regardless of your age (as long as you are over 50), your gender or your ability, you will be welcome at our sessions. We have three sessions per week which are aimed at people who want to play socially or who are returning to table tennis and two sessions per week which are aimed at more experienced players.

Social / Return to play sessions:
Monday – 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Wednesday – 10am to 12noon
Friday – 10am to 12noon
More experienced sessions:
Tuesday – 10am to 12noon
Thursday – 10am to 12noon
The cost for each session is £4 which is reduced to £3 for people who have membership of the table tennis centre. All sessions include a free drink either from the freshly ground coffee machine or a cold drink half way through the session.
There is limited equipment to lend out at the sessions should you wish to borrow a bat. We are able to get hold of bats for as little as £12 should you wish to buy one.
There are a few sessions that adults can choose from.
Monday, 4pm-5:30pm – A group coaching session for adult beginners. £5 for non-members and £4 for members. Very limited availability.
Wednesday, 6pm-7pm – A drop-in practise session. Coach available to offer advice. Turn up and play. £2.50 to non-members.
Friday, 2pm-3:30pm – A group coaching session for adult league players. £5 for non-members and £4 for members. FULL – waiting list in operation.
Saturday, 3:30pm-5:30pm – An adult drop-in practise session intended to support players with circulating and practising with different people. There is a qualified coach available to offer advice and support circulation. £5 for non-members and free to members.
